This page describes the work on service discovery developed by the “We, the Body and the Mind” Research Group of ADETTI. The main objective of this site is to provide information about this technology and enable the use of the developed service discovery agent, by all the interested people.

The Service Discovery Agent (SDA) is the result of the work developed in the scope of the CASCOM Project  and the “We, the Body and the Mind” Research Group’s internal project “Context-Dependent Service Discovery in P2P Networks”, by Pedro Pais and Tiago Santos, coordinated by Luis Botelho and with the valuable insights of Professors Mário Romão, Carlos Serrão and Rui Lopes.

The Service Discovery Agent (SDA) is integrated with a Service Matchmaking Agent (SMA) that include the DFKI matchmaker (OWLS-MX) and Role Based Matchmaker (developed by URJC). The SDA is also integrated with the WSDir (developed by EPFL).
